The history associated with HIV stemmed from the Democratic Republic Of Congo, and it was claimed to have been initiated during the late 1970’s. It is claimed that HIV was transferred onto humans when crossed with chimpanzees. Once this was noted, more and more cases started to show prevalence around the globe. It jumped from L.A, to Southern California, and a lot more places. With all the concerns that started to arise, doctors and health professionals started to gather data on this deadly infection. Nothing seemed to be working with the developments of the drugs that were administered to patients. HIV mutates so rapidly, and even today that’s one of the biggest issues with Human Immunodeficiency Virus. Hello, and welcome to my page! thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and learn more about HIV. I am a third year Health Sciences student at SFU, with an interest of doing my masters in Public Health in the future. I am hoping to bring more general awareness about Human Immunodeficiency Virus, as it is a serious problem with no cure at the moment.
